Webinterpret in review for December 18, 2015

It’s been a while since the last biweekly so there’s a lot covered. We have news about the Help Desk and Reputation Manager, information on loads of dashboard improvement, a slew of changes done to our Amazon solutions, and of course, many fixes and additions done to our Webstores solution. Read on for more.

GENERAL

  • We have retranslated 4.5 million items! This has generated a considerable amount of revenue for Webinterpret users.
  • We have made a lot of headway in improving our new Webinterpret seller dashboard. The main dashboard page will soon give a better overview of your performance internationally. The dashboard will also offer more information on what can be done to improve sales. The My items list will be redone. It will be much easier to see which items have blacklisting and shipping settings.
  • We are working on adding more item and buyer details to negative feedback in our new Help Desk and Reputation Manager (new MTS).
  • HDRM’s text templates will now allow sellers to modify templates. Parts that are added by the seller will be automatically translated.
  • We have added a feedback request feature to the HDRM. It will send buyers a reminder in their native language to leave feedback after buying an item. This feature is turned off by default.
  • We are working on adding a new bulk item request feature. It will be available for Premium users.
  • We have also updated our onboarding process.
  • We have undergone a major overhaul of our translation team.

AMAZON

  • We are still working on a partial retranslations mechanism that will improve already listed items.
  • We are working on adding information on item price history to the Webinterpret seller dashboard.
  • We have a new repricing algorithm that will adapt prices depending on an item’s sales history. It is included in the seller interface for select users.
  • We are in the process of finishing an integrated Registration Pipeline that will make the registration process much simpler. No more token linking and copy/paste during onboarding!
  • We are conceptualizing ways to show users how effective their products are in the Buy Box.
  • We are now translating new attributes for clothes and luggage.
  • We have improved the overall speed of translations.

WEBSTORES

  • A plugin for xt:Commerce has been released. The selling platforms is quite popular in Germany.
  • Paypal Express has been released. Third-party authentication is no longer needed. This removes useless steps during the checkout process. It’s also mobile compatible.
  • A WooCommerce plugin bug has been fixed so we are now onboarding sellers using the free ecommerce toolkit.
  • We have a new Webstores product page design.
  • We have opened up to food, books, beverages and other categories.

EBAY

  • We now have faster category updates.
  • We also have a faster eligibility and recommendation process.
  • We have implemented a lot of bug fixes.
  • We are working on compatibility with car parts.
